CF4em is a highly scalable, robust, feature-rich, ColdFusion based message board application. CF4em started out as a custom solution to a specific need but, with the requests of friends, colleagues and users, it has grown into much more. I've always been a fan of the PHPBB forum and though I wouldn't necessarily say that CF4em is the ColdFusion solution to PHPBB, it is definitely the closest thing that I've seen.

I have been working on CF4em for quite some time now and have put many different versions into production. Each one has had more features and less bugs than its predecessor but with a schedule that only allows me to work on the application between other projects, it's taken a long time to convert CF4em to a standalone application but that is exactly what I have done. There are multiple versions of CF4em. The first was written and tested on CF6. The latest uses an Application.cfc so CF versions vary with CF4em versions.
